Used to be, when college students wondered whether the campus cafe had any free seats, or their favorite corner of the library was occupied, they'd have to risk hoofing it over there to see. But for today's students at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), that kind of information is all just a click away."


Whew, talk about Big Brother watching (grin)... Well, I guess if you've "gotta go" it would be pretty helpful to know if your favorite bathroom stall is avalable. It would also be rather nice to know if your favorite brand of orange juice is on the shelf, before you bother to go down the aisle. Hum... so may possibilities...
Gee, as if we aren't lazy enough already!

Kidding aside, I think this technology is fascinating, with loads of possible applications, not all of which are bad, rights infringing threats.
