Teachers: The First Days of School

As teachers face the first full week of school, I wish them a smooth time of it. Switched Educational Assistants, switched rooms, excessing, new staff, new "memos" to follow, mis-communications, and the task of getting your students acclimated to your style, takes patience and the wisdom of Solomon. Bear in mind, that your students will thrive and grow through the year thanks to all the hard work they do now.

Thank you for your kind words of encouragement. It is great to know that there is somewhere safe to vent.

Do you know of any blogs written by NYC administrators? I would love to read what they had to say.

We ALL need encouragement. I'm always glad to give it for a good cause :)

Blogs are great places to vent, but you have to be careful, because it is open for anyone and everyone to read. Folks have lost jobs because they posted things their employers found objectionable. So vent carefully.

Thanks so much for taking the time to read my postings and for taking the time to leave your comment. Please come back often and keep me updated on your progress!
